Michael Jordan stops by Jimmy Fallon (okay, not really, it’s Kristen Wiig)

Great moment on Jimmy Fallon Tuesday night that you may have missed because you were watching Summer League replays on NBA TV — Michael Jordan made a surprise appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (right here on NBC).

Yes, Jordan looks a little different than his playing days. Almost like comedian Kristen Wiig. But that’s just how Jordan rolls these days. You can tell it’s Jordan because of how he describes “The Shot” to beat those pesky Cleveland Buccaneers.

(Okay, now I just want to see the real MJ sing Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky.” It’s my new mission in life.)

Video: Durant, Harden on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Isn’t hipster James Harden hanging on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and the Roots the most James Harden thing he could do after the Olympics? He and Kevin Durant swung by the show Monday and didn’t look too hungover.

Make sure to watch the second video, it has great stuff. Like Jimmy Fallon bringing up the Dwight Howard to the Lakers trade and Harden shrugging and saying “good for them.” Then they go all Oprah on the crowd.

But mostly, those gold medals are sweet.

Jimmy Fallon challenges Dwight Howard to random object shooting contest

I’ll admit it, we bought my toddler daughter one of those mini basketball hoops and I’ve spent time trying to shoot rocks, charcoal briquettes, golf balls and anything else I can get my hands on through it.

Consider this the adult version of that — Jimmy Fallon and Dwight Howard trying to shoot Shamrock Shakes through a basketball hoop on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Dwight Howard is a great sport about this. Try doing this with Kobe and he’d not only be desperately trying to beat Fallon but also to humiliate him.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Justin Timberlake, Jimmy Fallon, The Roots and the history of hip hop

This has nothing to do with basketball, it was just too good not to post. Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake hitting nothing but nylon. And the Roots… this is the second best thing they’ve done on Fallon. (Thanks to the legend that is Skeets)
