Saturday in Utah, Patrick Beverley drove the lane, was challenged by Rudy Gobert, and both men went crashing to the floor — on that landing, Beverley hurt his wrist. He came out, X-rays were negative, and he later returned to the game and tried to play through it.
That injury has Beverley officially out for a game in Sacramento on Tuesday. However, he’s going to miss more than that with a sprained wrist, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Beverley is expected to miss only a short time, but in a tight West — where 2.5 games separate the two and six seeds — every game matters.
Beverley is the tone-setter and one of the emotional leaders of the Clippers, and they have outscored opponents by 2.8 points per 100 possessions when he is on the court this season.
