Celtics center Enes Kanter has valiantly and vocally opposed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The United States House of Representatives supported the cause Tuesday, voting 403-16 to sanction Turkey due to its military action against the Kurds in Syria.
Yet, Kanter took notice one of a nay voter – Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.

Though 16 members voted no, Omar is drawing particular attention for two primary reasons: She’s the only Democrat who voted no, and she has argued against the effectiveness of sanctions while championing sanctioning Israel.
Kanter also supported Hawaii Rep. and Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard:
