John Collins hits game-winner, Philly misses point-blank putbacks, Hawks upset Sixers

Philadelphia desperately missed Joel Embiid (ankle).

That said, losing to Atlanta at home is an ugly loss for Philly regardless.

Credit the Hawks who play hard for Lloyd Pierce. First Kevin Huerter pulled up from Stephen Curry range to tie it.

Then John Collins — who has played well since returning from injury to start the season — drained the game-winner.

The Sixers had a chance to tie at the other end. Jimmy Butler drove and was fouled, he was 12-of-12 from the line up to that point in the game but missed the first one. Then, he had to miss the second one (2.4 seconds left) to give his team a chance to tie, he did and the Sixers had their tip-in chances but… did we mention Philadelphia missed Embiid?
