Devin Booker leaves game vs. Lakers with apparent hamstring injury

Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker already sustained one gruesome injury that we know of this weekend. According to a report, Booker stubbed his toe in his hotel room in Los Angeles so badly that it needed to be drained of blood before Sunday’s game against the Lakers.

As the game got underway at Staples Center Sunday afternoon, Booker had to exit the game after a play in the second quarter in which he strained his left hamstring.

Booker was trying to defend a long pass in transition when he took a jump where it appeared he landed a bit awkwardly.

We don’t have any word yet on Booker’s injury or prognosis from the team, but Phoenix won’t want to have him off the court for long as they try to find some kind of way to gel this young team together.
