You can feel any type of way you want to about LeBron James playing for the Los Angeles Lakers. No doubt most in Southern California are excited about the opportunity, although as we have seen on Twitter over the past couple days some people seem to be lamenting the roster decisions and constant chatter that comes with having The King on your team.

In any case, one positively good outcome out of LeBron signing with LA is the mural that was put up on a local BBQ joint in Venice. Painted by local artist Jonas Never, the mural was quickly defaced by Lakers fans who clearly didn’t want LeBron to overshadow their precious franchise.

Because of that vandal (and others) the artist decided to simply paint over the mural of James.

In a video posted to social media on Wednesday, Never was seen painting over the mural and talking to an observer about the suspected motives of the vandals. Whether they were LeBron haters or Kobe Bryant lovers, he wasn’t sure, but the decision was made to put white paint over the wall.

Ah, Lakers fans. You can’t live with ’em, but you can’t … wait have we checked to see if we can just live without them?
