Beyond the DeMarcus Cousins-fueled Warriors, the Pacers are making the biggest gains in free agency among last year’s playoff teams.

Indiana has added Tyreke Evans, Doug McDermott and now Kyle O'Quinn while mostly keeping future flexibility intact and losing no core players.

Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports:

This sounds like the $4,449,000 room exception. After Evans and McDermott, Indiana doesn’t the cap space to offer more.

Importantly for O’Quinn, it’s more than the $4,256,250 player option he declined with the Knicks.

O’Quinn will back up Myles Turner at center. O’Quinn is a savvy defender and rebounder who shoots well from mid-range and has expanded his offensive skill set. He’ll be a big upgrade over the waived Al Jefferson.
