Giannis Antetokounmpo is a developing star in the NBA, and comes with a fun personality to boot. He’s slowly turning into the kind of marketable star the NBA is looking for.

And, as time has gone on Antetokounmpo has become one of the veteran presences on the Milwaukee Bucks roster. With that stature comes certain responsibilities, like pranking rookies who don’t do their duties as first year players.

If you’re not familiar, NBA veterans ofter make rookies do things like go on donut runs, carry their bags to the plane, and so forth.

Disobey these light hazing rituals and there can be compensatory payback. Bucks first year guard Sterling Brown found that out the hard way when Antetokounmpo filled Brown’s Mercedes with popcorn.

Via Twitter:

Filling someone’s car with popcorn is an old NBA standby. Kenyon Martin got it back in the day. When Nik Stauskas was a rookie his teammates did it to his house.

The only bummer here is that it can ruin the interior of a car, and with NBA players that can be mighty expensive as their cars tend to be on the pricey side.

At least this time Brown appeared to be in good spirits about the popcorning.
