Heat’s practice facility suffers minor damage from Hurricane Irma

In the grand scheme of the loss of life and damage caused by Hurricane Irma — particularly what it did to areas such as the U.S. Virgin Islands and other parts of the Caribbean — this is minor.

However, the Miami’s Heat’s practice facilities suffered some minor damage from the high winds and rain that have pelted Florida. From Will Manso of WPLG Channel 10 in Miami.

A building can be repaired (even if the timeline is now a little tighter with the regular season and training camps opening earlier this season). What’s important is that the Heat players and staff — basketball and business side — are safe.
