Lonzo Ball may have gotten the MVP, but Dallas’ Dennis Smith Jr. also was one of the standouts of Summer League and was named First Team All Summer League.

Smith was drafted by Dallas at No. 9, but coming into college off an ACL tear he didn’t have the season he or North Carolina State had hoped. Finally healthy, that changed in Las Vegas — he was one of the most explosive and aggressive guys in Sin City, averaging 17.3 points and 4.8 assists a game. He was strong, aggressive, fearless, and willing to set guys up.

We’ll see if he can carry that over to the NBA season, but here are his highlights from Las Vegas.
