Oregon’s Jordan Bell denies report he declared for NBA draft

Tyler Dorsey and Dillon Brooks left Oregon for the NBA draft.

Is Jordan Bell following?

Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports:

Oregon junior Jordan Bell has decided to enter the 2017 NBA draft and plans to sign with an agent, league sources told The Vertical.

Sometimes, players signing with an agent gets leaked before the player prefers, so he denies it ever happened. Sometimes, inaccurate information gets leaked, either due to genuine misunderstandings or nefarious plotting.

We’ll see what Bell eventually decides.

The 6-foot-9 big man is a borderline first-rounder. He’s an active defender and rebounder, and his ability to switch onto guards would be huge in the modern NBA. He finishes well near the basket, a reliable skill in an otherwise still-developing offensive repertoire.

I’d turn pro if I were him — he has the talent, and his stock is high after Oregon’s Final Four run — but there’s a lot that goes into the decision I’m not privy to.
