PBT Extra: Fan vote picks Klay Thompson to win three point contest, but aren’t we all rooting for Nick Young?

NBA’s All-Star Saturday night is highlighted by the Dunk Contest.

But this year’s three-point shootout (on Feb. 18) may be the most interesting lineup of the night. Seven guys and the field seems wide open, so we went to Twitter and asked the fans who they were picking to win, and I break it down in this latest PBT Extra video.

Klay Thompson came out on top with 43 percent of the vote. Hard to argue with that, he’s the defending champion in this contest and one of the best pure shooters in the game. Second at 24 percent was Kyrie Irving — another guy who has won this contest in the past.

But this is a field where a lot of guys — C.J. McCollum, Kemba Walker, Eric Gordon could all win it. Personally, I’m rooting for Nick Young — just because he will showboat, and because the postgame interview will be hysterical. Other guys may be better shooters, but nobody is more entertaining in this contest than Swaggy P.
