CJ McCollum was magical for the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night. The 2016 NBA Most Improved Player kept the Blazers afloat after losing Evan Turner to a broken hand, scoring 14 points in the fourth quarter and hitting the game-winning shot with less than a second to go.

The play before, Dallas’ Dirk Nowitzki had hit a tough 3-pointer over Allen Crabbe to give the Mavericks the lead with just 3.9 seconds to go.

That’s when the Blazers got the ball to McCollum and let him go to work, splitting both Harrison Barnes and Wesley Matthews before hitting a floater in the lane over Dorian Finney-Smith:

Smooth.

McCollum finished with 32 points on 13-of-21 shooting, adding three assists, two rebounds and a steal. Portland beat Dallas, 114-113.
