When asked for his Eastern Conference All-Star starters, John Wall named himself first.

Kyrie Irving and DeMar DeRozan were chosen as starting guards, so Wall will have to settle for this.

Chris Haynes of ESPN:

Wall is averaging a career-high 23.1 points, 10.1 assists and an NBA-high 2.2 steals. He’s a deserving choice.

Four to six Eastern Conference guards will become All-Stars. Irving, DeRozan and Wall are locked in. Kyle Lowry and Isaiah Thomas should make it. So should Kemba Walker, though his candidacy is more flawed.
