Report: With Korver to Cleveland, Hawks now active in trade talks for Paul Millsap

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Atlanta Hawks are reportedly working on a deal to send Kyle Korver to Ohio. That means the next piece in Atlanta to be moved should be forward Paul Millsap, and he could find his way to a new team sooner than later.

Millsap is now actively being discussed in trade talks with several teams, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski.

Yahoo! is also reporting that several teams including the Toronto Raptors, Denver Nuggets, Sacramento Kings, and Philadelphia 76ers have expressed an interest in Millsap.

It should also be pointed out that any trade partner for Millsap will need to draw him back into signing after the season ends. Millsap has an early termination option on his contract that he will almost certainly exercise, making him a free agent during the summer of 2017.
