Craig Sager, who passed away on Thursday after a battle with leukemia at age 65, touched a lot of people in his life. One of those people was former TNT analyst and now-coach of the Golden State Warriors, Steve Kerr.

Although there had been several tributes, moments of silence, and remembrances of Sager’s life around the league, Kerr and the Warriors decided to do something different before the tip between the New York Knicks and Golden State at Oracle.

In order to honor his friend, Kerr led the crowd in a “moment of joy” as it was more akin to Sager’s personality.
