J.R. Smith daps Bucks’ Jason Terry mid-game, gives up layup (VIDEO)

J.R. Smith is a crucial part of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and he’s upped his game to the tune of a 4-year, $57 million contract from Cleveland in 2016. But that doesn’t mean he’s not still an endless source of basketball comedy.

During the game on Tuesday night between the Cavaliers and the Milwaukee Bucks, Smith was waiting for a play to start when he noticed his old friend Jason Terry standing near him.

On the bench.

In a Bucks uniform.

This is what happened next:

Yes, Smith allowed a layup against an opponent because he was busy dapping Jason Terry. That is one of the best sentences a sportswriter can write, really, and this video is one of the best things I’ve ever seen.

Long Live J.R. Smith.
