Nets’ Jeremy Lin out at least two weeks

The Nets are depending on Jeremy Lin to make them relevant while they endure a difficult rebuilding process with so many of their first-round picks going to the Celtics.

The plan was going fine – Lin was averaging 15.0 points and 6.2 assists per game for a feisty Brooklyn team – until he got hurt against the Pistons last night.

Greivis Vasquez and Randy Foye are also injured. This puts a lot of responsibility on Isaiah Whitehead and Sean Kilpatrick.

On one hand, this will get young players more experience. Brooklyn wasn’t going anywhere this year, anyway.

On the other hand, the Nets are once again on track to being hard to watch.
