In the end, this was a tough loss for Brooklyn to the Bucks.
But along the way, early in the fourth quarter, Nets point guard Jeremy Lin hit one of the best circus shots of the early season. He got fouled on the drive by John Henson, who spins Lin by the shoulder, but the point guard keeps his poise and throws it up-and-in over his shoulder.
Lin is averaging 17 points and 7.3 assists for the Nets through three games. He’s struggled some from three and is shooting just 38.1 percent overall, but is efficient as a pick-and-roll ball handler and is getting to the line. As expected, he’s one of the few entertaining bright spots in what will be a rough season in Brooklyn.
