Report: Clippers sign Alan Anderson to minimum contract

The Clippers continued to add to their depth at the tail end of free agency, getting solid value on veteran wing Alan Anderson at the minimum, according to Dan Woike of the Orange County Register:

The Clippers have agreed to terms with guard/forward Alan Anderson, multiple sources confirmed.

Anderson adds depth to a wing rotation that includes reserves Luc Mbah a Moute and Wesley Johnson.

The 6-foot-6, 220-pound Anderson is expected to sign a deal for the veteran’s minimum, but the length of the contract was not available.

Anderson played just 13 games for the Wizards last season due to recurring ankle problems. If he’s healthy, he provides nice wing depth for the Clippers along with Wesley Johnson and Luc Mbah a Moute. The Clippers have had a nice offseason in terms of finding value, even though they essentially just had the minimum to offer players. They added Marreese Speights, Brandon Bass and Raymond Felton in addition to re-signing Johnson, Mbah a Moute, Austin Rivers and Jamal Crawford.
