Report: Clippers agree to re-sign Wesley Johnson for three years, $18 million

No official word has been given yet, but the Clippers appear to be out of the running for Kevin Durant. Earlier Saturday, they agreed to re-sign backup point guard Austin Rivers to a three-year, $35 million deal, and now they have an agreement to bring back forward Wesley Johnson, according to The Vertical‘s Shams Charania:

Johnson was productive last season for the Clippers, and this is a below-market deal for a rotation player. Next up, assuming Durant is out, is presumably an attempt at bringing back Jamal Crawford, who’s been fielding offers from several teams.
