Report: Arron Afflalo agrees to two-year, $25 million deal with Kings

Another starting-caliber wing is off the board in free agency. After being linked to Dion Waiters and Courtney Lee, the Sacramento Kings have landed Arron Afflalo on a two-year, $25 million contract, according to The Vertical‘s Adrian Wojnarowski:

Afflalo is less expensive than Lee probably would have been, but he’s also not as good. He’s still a solid veteran and an upgrade at shooting guard over Marco Belinelli. When judging any deal by the Kings, it’s a win if it’s not a complete trainwreck, and this qualifies as “not a complete trainwreck.” Sacramento still has significant cap space and it remains to be seen what else they’ll do with it.
