Carmelo Anthony said and said and said he plans to play for Team USA in the 2016 Olympics.

But there was the one time in between he said he was undecided.

Apparently, the Knicks star has made up his mind for certain – and Jimmy Butler and DeAndre Jordan will join him in Rio.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports:

Marc Stein of ESPN:

Anthony is a bit of a legacy choice, and he has earned it. He has played very well in international settings. If Team USA were assembled purely on merit, he might not make it – but he might, and he’ll definitely contribute.

Butler is a strong addition. The Americans can’t get enough two-way wings if they want to play small and run the floor.

Jordan is also a good selection. He’ll defend the rim, rebound and finish inside. Yes, he’ll get pulled to the perimeter by opposing bigs with better shooting ability, but he can make them pay on the other end and on the glass.
