The Bucks wanted to stabilize their franchise – extending Jason Kidd’s contract and hiring Justin Zanik as general manager-in-waiting.
They officially hired Zanik. Now, Kidd’s deal is done.
Milwaukee Bucks coach Jason Kidd is finalizing a three-year, $15 million-plus contract extension with the franchise, league sources told The Vertical.
Kidd has one year left on his original deal and the extension will take him through 2020.

Helps to be friends with the boss.
