Love isn’t as important to Cleveland in this series because of his poor matchup with the Warriors. They’re built to expose his defensive weaknesses.
But he can still help the Cavs, who should continue starting Richard Jefferson. Love is a quality offensive player, and there’s a place for him against certain lineups.
Whether he plays or not won’t greatly move the needle, but it would nudge the Cavaliers’ chances of winning up a tick.
