Warriors set modern-era Finals record for bench advantage

The Warriors bench was awesome last night.

Just how awesome?

Golden State’s reserves outscored the Cavaliers’ backups by 35, the biggest bench advantage in a Finals game since the NBA adopted a 16-team playoff in 1984. That’s five points better than any other team, and it’s been a a couple decades since someone came closer than 10:
