In a half where the Warriors never truly found their footing, their rotation suffered a huge blow in the second quarter when Shaun Livingston was ejected after a confrontation with referee Scott Foster. Livingston was unhappy a foul against him at the rim went uncalled on the previous possession.
Livingston had a legitimate case here — he should have drawn a foul. But he has to be smarter, given the state of the Warriors’ depth. Stephen Curry returned Monday night, but he’s still working his way back into shape, and losing a major rotation player like Livingston doesn’t help things. Now, the Warriors will have to play the second half without him.
