The Pistons entered Monday night one game out of the playoffs in the East — they need every win they can get.
Andre Drummond got them one Monday night.
Down one point with 7.5 seconds left, the Pistons inbounded the ball out high to Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who took a couple of dribbles and went for the three, which he missed, but the Bucks had Giannis Antetokounmpo trying to box out Drummond, and that’s just not going to work. Drummond is much stronger.
Drummond got position and tipped in the game-winner.
Drummond finished the night with 14 points and 16 rebounds, while Marcus Morris had 21.
The Pistons remain one game back as the Bulls were able to beat the Kings.
