But Fredette’s will-do attitude was matched only by the never-quit grittiness of Meyers Leonard, who attempted to block Fredette’s shot.
Jimmer’s craftiness drew a foul, and he made two free throws to cut the final score to 104-85. You have to applaud him for having the toughness to play to the final whistle and trimming New York’s deficit. You could even call it a moral victory for the Knicks.
