Tim Duncan becomes fifth player in NBA history to record 3,000 blocks (VIDEO)

As if Tim Duncan needed another milestone to add to an all-time great career, on Saturday night against the Rockets he picked up his 3,000th block, becoming just the fifth player in NBA history to do so.

Duncan joins Hakeem Olajuwon, Dikembe Mutombo, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Mark Eaton in the 3,000-block club. If you count combined NBA and ABA stats, Artis Gilmore is also there. Either way, that’s good company for Duncan to be in.
