It sure didn’t look like Dragic did anything nefarious – or even touch Durant.
If Durant’s goal was truly to “add a little flair to the game,” as he said afterward, he at least did that. Dragic certainly looked shocked to be involved in a confrontation.
Otherwise, I’m not sure what what Durant – who got a technical foul for his reaction – accomplished here. After the game, he sounded like someone who realized he misread events (which, to be fair, were happening at high speed).
