Fresh off signing a three-year, $33 million extension with the Raptors, Terrence Ross is out indefinitely with a thumb injury. The team announced the injury in a press release:
Terrence Ross sustained a ligament injury to his left thumb during a Monday workout session.
There is no timetable for his return to basketball activity. His status will be updated as appropriate.
Ross had been struggling this season, shooting the lowest percentages of his career from the field and from three-point range. The thumb injury may have had something to do with that—hopefully when he comes back, his shooting improves.
