Andre Drummond beats three defenders for post-up dunk (video)

Andre Drummond has ended 36 post-ups with a shot, free throw or turnover – 10th most in the NBA.

But he scores just .75 points per post-up, second-worst among the league’s 10 most-frequenter post-up possession users (behind only Zach Randolph).

Why do the Pistons keep posting up Drummond?

Because he has the potential to do this.

Drummond is just 22. There’s plenty of time for him to become an elite post player. The best way to develop him is giving him opportunities inside.
