He hasn’t officially said it, but all signs are pointing to this being the final season of Kobe Bryant‘s 20-year career. He could do any number of things when he’s done playing. He’s shown an interest in filmmaking, and he’s been great on television when he’s joined various NBA broadcasts.
One thing you won’t see him do post-retirement: coaching.

Not bad reasoning. It’s tough to imagine Kobe as a coach anyway—given how hard he is on himself and on teammates when they’re performing poorly, he’d last about a week as a coach before snapping.
