Seemingly every year, talk of a Space Jam sequel or remake surfaces. Usually, a big-name star is involved, someone of the LeBron James or Blake Griffin tier. You can add another name to the list of NBA players who wants it to happen, and who would want a supporting role if it were to be made: Isaiah Thomas.
At 5-foot-3, Bogues was the shortest player in NBA history. Thomas is among the shortest at 5-foot-9, and now that Nate Robinson is all but out of the league, he’d be the one that makes the most sense for the role. However, there are no indications that a hypothetical Space Jam 2 is actually being made, and honestly, it’s not a great idea. It would do nothing but set everybody involved up for disappointment.
