Back in July, the Kings had a one-year deal with veteran forward Luc Mbah a Moute — until he failed a physical and the team voided the deal. The NBPA was very vocal about its unhappiness with the situation. Fortunately, Mbah a Moute has found a home for training camp, with Dan Woike of the Orange County Register reporting that the Clippers have signed him to a non-guaranteed deal:
The Clippers will bring veteran forward Luc Mbah a Moute to training camp with a chance to make the team on a non-guaranteed contract.
Earlier this summer, Mbah a Moute signed with Sacramento, but the Kings backed out after he failed his physical.
If Mbah a Moute is healthy, he has a solid chance of making the roster. He could help them defensively. Chuck Hayes is probably the other nonguaranteed camp invite with the best chance of making the Clippers’ roster; either of them would be a fine addition.
