The Rockets lost one Josh Smith this summer, when the 11-year veteran big man signed with the Clippers after a successful playoff run in Houston. They’ve replaced him with another Joshua Smith, this one an undrafted center who has played college ball at UCLA and Georgetown and played for the Heat at Summer League.
Via Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel:
Smith played three years at UCLA and two at Georgetown, averaging 10.4 points and 5.3 rebounds per game during his college career. Before the draft, DraftExpress ranked him 20th among eligible seniors.
