Corey Brewer drew a foul on Lester Hudson in the first quarter of the Rockets’ win over the Clippers last night, but it will cost the Houston wing.
Houston Rockets guard/forward Corey Brewer has been fined $5,000 by the NBA for violating the league’s anti-flopping rules during Game 2 of Houston’s Conference Semifinals series against the Los Angeles Clippers.
The incident occurred with 1:03 remaining in the first quarter of Rockets’ 115-109 victory over the Clippers last night at Toyota Center.
Was this a flop? Probably.
Was it definitely a flop? I’m not so sure.
It’s difficult to ascribe intent. Maybe Brewer was off balance. Maybe his feet got tangled.
Maybe I’m just giving him too much benefit of the doubt.
