Jason Terry wore black for Mavericks’ funeral in Game 4, but you know what happened

With the Rockets leading the Mavericks 3-0 entering Sunday, Jason Terry readied for the season to end.

Brad Townsend of The Dallas Morning News:

Jason Terry left no doubt Saturday what he plans to wear to American Airlines Center on Sunday, when Houston will have a chance to close out a series sweep of the Mavericks.

“You know my wardrobe,” Terry said. “You know what it consists of when it’s time to close a series out. So I haven’t changed that at all.”

Specifically what does Terry plan to wear? The color black. Funereal black. In fact, Terry said he’ll wear “black on black.”

Michael Florek of The Dallas Morning News:

The Mavericks, of course, didn’t die. They routed Houston in Game 4.

Terry is famous for the getting the Larry O’Brien Trophy tattooed to his arm before helping the Mavericks win the title in 2010-11, but this seems like an apt time to remind you he got similar ink for the 2012-13 Celtics and 2013-14 Nets.
