Report: Georgia State’s R.J. Hunter declaring for NBA draft

You will see video of R.J. Hunter – who hit the game-winning 3-pointer in Georgia State’s 3-14 upset of Baylor, causing his dad, Georgia State coach Ron Hunter, to fall from his stool – for years to come.

You will also see him in the NBA next season.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports:

The 6-foot-5 Hunter looks the part of an NBA shooting guard, though he’s not an elite athlete. Still, he can shoot, handle the ball and pass. His all-around skills will definitely intrigue teams – and some might even be swayed by his suddenly high profile.

Expect him to be a first-round pick this June.
