Doc Rivers compares Draymond Green to his mom and Pat Riley

1. Draymond Green made a big deal about Dahntay Jones bumping him during a postgame interview.

2. Jones got fined.

3. Doc Rivers mocked Green’s toughness.

4. Green called Rivers “Glenn.”

If you thought this chapter of the emerging Warriors-Clippers rivalry would end there, you were mistaken.

Rivers, via Arash Markazi of ESPN:

“Clearly they’re thinking about us more than we know,” Rivers said. “It makes me happy that I could get someone mad. That probably made my day.”

“When my mom was mad at me and Pat Riley was mad at me they called me Glenn,” Rivers said. “So I guess now Draymond is in that category.”

The rhetoric is clearly fizzling, but Rivers wants to make sure Green knows who has the upper hand.

Hopefully, we’ll see who really has the upper hand with this teams meeting in the playoffs.
