Since his recent diagnoses of blood clots in his lungs, Chris Bosh has drawn concern from around the NBA. It’s an incredibly scary thing to go through, something that’s bigger than basketball. And one player who can relate to Bosh is Nets forward Mirza Teletovic, who is also out for the season after being diagnosed with blood clots in January.
Mirza Teletovic, recovering from blood clots in lungs, had a message for Chris Bosh: “He doesn’t have to worry. He’s going to get better.”

On Monday night, Teletovic spoke to reporters and opened up about his own recovery process, saying he hopes to be back next season.
Mirza Teletovic says that he has no genetic predisposition for blood clots. Says he should be able to play in six months.

Mirza says there is an 80 percent certainty, according to doctors, that hip pointer he suffered against Cleveland was cause of it.

Mirza said he was relieved to find out what was the matter with him. Said he was frustrated not knowing why he wasn’t feeling well for weeks

Mirza says he loves everything about the Nets, very much wants to be back. Will be a restricted free agent this summer.

It sounds like Teletovic is doing well. The fact that he doesn’t have a genetic condition that caused the blood clots is especially encouraging, because that could have meant he’d never be able to play basketball again. Hopefully, both he and Bosh will be back to normal next season.
