Nets’ Mirza Teletovic, who also suffered blood clots, says Chris Bosh “will be fine”

Since his recent diagnoses of blood clots in his lungs, Chris Bosh has drawn concern from around the NBA. It’s an incredibly scary thing to go through, something that’s bigger than basketball. And one player who can relate to Bosh is Nets forward Mirza Teletovic, who is also out for the season after being diagnosed with blood clots in January.

On Monday night, Teletovic spoke to reporters and opened up about his own recovery process, saying he hopes to be back next season.

It sounds like Teletovic is doing well. The fact that he doesn’t have a genetic condition that caused the blood clots is especially encouraging, because that could have meant he’d never be able to play basketball again. Hopefully, both he and Bosh will be back to normal next season.
