Doc Rivers apologizes to courtside Clippers fan in Cleveland during blowout loss to Cavaliers (VIDEO)

The Clippers came into Thursday night’s contest against the Cavaliers winners of seven of their last nine, but the way Cleveland was rolling from the very start, and with LeBron James playing the dominating brand of basketball that only he can, L.A. was quickly ruled out of legitimately contending in this one.

The third quarter was especially frustrating for the Clippers — the team racked up four technical fouls on the way to falling behind by as many as 32 points.

Doc Rivers was obviously embarrassed by the performance, but seemed even more concerned that a young fan in Clippers gear sitting courtside near the team’s bench was forced to witness the meltdown in person. So, Rivers offered up a personal apology in order to try to make things right.
