Russell Westbrook takes 3-pointer to draw foul, makes it anyway (video)

Russell Westbrook is not above taking bad shots, but this 3-point attempt – rushed, just in time to allow the Knicks to take the last shot of the first half – would have been a bit much even for him. Except Westbrook clearly saw Langston Galloway leaning in with his hands extended and figured he could draw an easy foul.

Galloway (fresh of signing a new contract) held up, though – putting Westbrook in an awkward spot.

Westbrook jumped so high, he had a chance to adjust – and make a ridiculous 3-pointer that perfectly fits his skill set.

The Knicks, thanks in part to Kevin Durant’s absence, still won, 100-92, hurting the Thunder’s playoff chances.
