The Cavaliers have finally gotten rolling as of late, winning six straight and beginning to look like the juggernaut of a team that many projected before the season began.
But Cleveland only looks that way when LeBron James is in the lineup — and he won’t be on Wednesday for a home contest against the Portland Trail Blazers.
From Chris Haynes of Cleveland.com:
#Cavs F LeBron James (wrist) will not play tonight against#Blazers, I’m told.
The Cavaliers are just 1-8 on the season with James out of the lineup, and they’ve been outscored in those games by an average of 11.1 points per contest.
This will be a career-high of 10 games that LeBron has missed in a single season due to injury. The team is listing him as doubtful at this point to play on Friday at home against the Kings.
