Spurs list Kawhi Leonard as probable for tomorrow against Blazers

The Spurs have been without Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard since December 16, when he suffered a torn ligament in his right hand. San Antonio’s season has been a mixed bag: they’re 24-16, currently the seventh seed in the Western Conference. Now, it looks like they’re getting Leonard back for Friday’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers:

This is great news for the Spurs. Leonard does so much for the Spurs at both ends of the floor that it’s been hard to get a handle on who they are as a team without him. As with anything surrounding the Spurs, it’s hard to take what they do in the regular season seriously because of their tendency to flip a switch when the playoffs start, but getting Leonard back should be a huge help.
