Dwyane Wade finds Hassan Whiteside for the alley-oop slam (VIDEO)

The Heat got a nice win at Staples Center on Sunday, and while Chris Bosh impressed with a 34-point performance, they really couldn’t have done it without the career night from Hassan Whiteside.

Whiteside has played overseas the past two seasons, and after multiple stints in the D-League, he’s making the most of his opportunity in Miami. The seven-footer finished with 23 points and 16 rebounds in 28 minutes off the bench, including this alley-oop slam off the feed from Dwyane Wade.

While we’re here, this was just awful defense from DeAndre Jordan who, as the team’s rim protector, needs to not wander over to double team like that when there’s no one in position to provide help from the weak side.
