Lance Stephenson out at least the next two games for Hornets

Lance Stephenson has missed the Hornets’ last five games with a pelvic injury, and he’s going to be out a bit longer. According to Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer, Stephenson will sit out tonight against the Orlando Magic, Monday against the Milwaukee Bucks, and maybe longer.

The Hornets have won four of the five games they’ve played without Stephenson. His future with the team remains uncertain—they’ve shopped him around, but none of the offers they’ve received have been high enough, and they’ve been unwilling to attach a first-round pick to unload his contract. For now, it seems like they’re committed to trying to make the relationship work. In the meantime, they hope to continue their recent run of success without him.
