Much has been made of Tuesday night being the first time Kevin Love faced the Minnesota Timberwolves as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, but the other centerpiece of that trade had a point to prove, too. Andrew Wiggins was a member of the Cavs for approximately two months, from being the No. 1 pick in June, to playing at Summer League for the Cavs’ squad, to being trade to Minnesota for Love before he had played a single NBA game.

This is the kind of freakish athletic play that made Wiggins the first pick this summer, and made the Wolves willing to trade Love for him. Wiggins is going to be special for a long time.
