Drake introduces Raptors on Drake Night (video)

It’s Drake Night in Toronto, and that means special privileges for the Canadian rapper.

He even got to introduce the Raptors’ starting lineup of Jonas Valanciunas, Amir Johnson, Terrence Ross, Landry Fields and Kyle Lowry (hat tip: James Herbert of CBSSports.com). There was humor (Drake said he and Fields “realized tonight that we share the same family”), and his nickname of Lowry (“baby-faced assassin”) has at least the potential to stick.

But really, as long as he didn’t name Kevin Durant, this was going to go better than the last time he introduced an NBA player to the crowd.
